Dr Ammiel Arra is a highly skilled General Surgeon with a focus on Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) surgery. He is recognized as a leading expert in his field and has dedicated his career to improving the health and well-being of his patients.
Dr Arra's journey to becoming a surgeon began with his undergraduate studies at the University of the West Indies. He then went on to complete his postgraduate training in General Surgery, with a focus on HPB surgery, at several prestigious institutions, including Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai.
Throughout his career, Dr Arra has been committed to providing the highest quality of care. He is known for his exceptional surgical skills and has performed countless successful surgeries in the field of HPB surgery.
Dr Arra is also a respected educator and researcher. He has been involved in teaching and training surgical residents for many years and has published numerous papers in international journals.
Despite his many accomplishments, Dr Arra remains dedicated to his patients. Rishi Ramraj
General Surgeon
Dr. Ramraj is currently Head of the General Surgery Department at the Point Fortin General Hospital and is an Associate Lecturer in Surgery at the University of the West Indies.
The Medical Board of Trinidad and Tobago has certified his specialist qualification. “Rishi” as he is affectionately known has a Fellowship in Gastrointestinal Oncosurgery, with a focus on Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery, from the University of Milan, Italy. He is competent in both open and laparoscopic General surgery.
With over twenty years of surgical experience, Dr. Ramraj has worked in several countries and has presented numerous scientific reports both nationally and internationally. He is also published in international peer reviewed journals.
