Dr. Candice Ramdin is a highly experienced pain management doctor with over 12 years of experience working in the Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care. Throughout her career, she has treated pain in various settings, including perioperatively, in the ICU, and in chronic conditions. Dr. Ramdin has always held an interest in pain management and regional anesthesia, which led her to complete post-graduate training at the University of the West Indies, where she received her Doctor of Medicine in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care in 2015. She completed two fellowships, one in regional anesthesia and acute perioperative pain, and the second in chronic pain. Dr. Ramdin has a particular interest in all pain and regional techniques, including nerve blocks for pain, and she believes in a holistic biopsychosocial approach
