Dr Robyn Ramsingh is our most experienced paediatrician with over 20 years of experience in the field locally and in the UK. She obtained her MBBS degree from the University of the West Indies in 1998 and went on to complete her MRCPCH in 2006. Dr Ramsingh has worked in various settings, including pediatric accident and emergency, neonatal ICU, pediatric inpatient wards, and outpatient clinics. She presently works at Allied Family Care in San Fernando, where she looks forward to partnering with families to manage and care for their children. Dr Ramsingh is passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate care to her patients and their families, and is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest advances in pediatric medicine.
Anuradha Jagoo-Persad
Paediatrician
Dr. Anuradha Jagoo-Persad is a highly experienced and knowledgeable paediatrician, with over 16 years of experience in general paediatrics, emergency paediatrics and neonatal medicine. She obtained her MBBS degree from the University of the West Indies in 2007 and went on to specialize in paediatrics through the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health in England. In 2016, she completed her post-graduate programme at Boston University in Pediatric Nutrition and also at Vanderbilt University for Developmental Pediatrics. Dr. Jagoo-Persad is particularly well-versed in dealing with special needs children and has a wealth of experience in this area. She is committed to providing the best possible care to all her patients and takes a compassionate and empathetic approach to her work.
Melissa Rooplal
Child Development and Neurodisability
Dr. Melissa Rooplal is a UK-trained Consultant Paediatrician specializing in child development, autism, ADHD, and neurodisability. She completed her medical degree at St. George’s University and a Fellowship in Community Child Health at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, London. Dr. Rooplal has extensive experience in developmental assessments and works closely with families to support children with learning, behavioural, and developmental challenges. She brings a compassionate, family-centred approach to every consultation at Allied Family Care.
