Dr Reishad Ghany
Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist (MBBS [UWI], MRCP [UK], UK Fellowship, ESEGH)
Dr Reishad Ghany is a gastroenterologist with advanced UK fellowship training and the European Specialty Examination in Gastroenterology & Hepatology. He manages the full spectrum of digestive and liver disorders—including reflux/GERD, dyspepsia, peptic ulcer disease, IBS/IBD, GI bleeding, and abnormal liver tests—and performs diagnostic and therapeutic upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. He currently serves within the public sector and consults privately in Trinidad, including at Allied Family Care (San Fernando). His approach emphasizes evidence-based care, clear explanations, and coordinated follow-up with primary and specialty teams.
Training & credentials:
MBBS (The University of the West Indies), MRCP (UK), Fellowship in Gastroenterology (UK), European Specialty Examination in Gastroenterology & Hepatology. Public-sector experience includes the Eastern Regional Health Authority (Sangre Grande Hospital).
