Gailann Jugmohansingh

Dr. Gailann Jugmohansingh is a Specialist Otolaryngologist who has over 19 years experience in the field of Ear, Nose, Throat, Head and Neck Surgery. She obtained her MBBS as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Family Medicine at the University of the West Indies. She went on to complete a second postgraduate degree in Otolaryngology.
She is currently a Consultant and the Head of Department (Ag) in the Department of ENT surgery at the San Fernando General Hospital. In addition, Dr. Jugmohansingh is an Associate lecturer with the University of the West Indies and is involved in the training of medical students.
Dr. Jugmohansingh worked in all three major public hospitals in Trinidad and has completed Observorships at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, USA as well as the University and Kingston Public Hospitals in Jamaica.
She is a frequent presenter at local and regional Otolaryngology conferences and has several publications in peer reviewed journals. She is a member of the Trinidad and Tobago Society of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery as well as a Committee member of the Caribbean Association of Otolaryngologists.
Dr. Jugmohansingh is dedicated and very passionate about ENT surgery. She is a strong advocate of patient education. She is compassionate and ensures that all her patients receive a high quality of care and attention.
